Natural woven igusa rush surface
3.5 cm cushioning between you and floor
Folds away for easy storage
Description
Sitting or resting directly on a hard or cold floor quickly becomes uncomfortable, whether you are meditating, stretching or enjoying traditional floor sleeping. The Igusa Tatami Floor Mat creates a softer, more natural surface for these moments. Inspired by Japanese tatami, it brings a calm, grounded feel to bedrooms, living rooms and dedicated relaxation corners in the home.
The foldable design makes the mat easy to store when not in use and simple to move between rooms. Unfold it as a sleeping surface, a yoga or meditation space, or a cozy spot for reading and lounging. At 3.5cm thick, it adds comfortable cushioning between you and the floor while keeping a low, minimalist profile that suits modern interiors. Rush has a pleasant, natural scent when new and a cool, smooth feel underfoot, making the mat comfortable during warmer months and an inviting surface all year round. It is easy to roll out for guests or fold away to free up floor space when you need the room for other activities.
Made from woven rush, also known as igusa, the mat has a natural texture and a breathable surface typical of traditional tatami setups. It is available in two sizes: 75×200cm and 90×200cm. Homelia offers this tatami as a simple way to bring traditional Japanese-inspired comfort and a sense of calm to everyday living spaces.
